three girls and one small, loved dog,

brown water sliding on tile,

a mask, deserted,


candles unburnt and white still,


sun-green leaves in pools of brightness,


a white rose behind the fold of his ear,


bad drivers,


books and their spines,


the light that comes in warm from my window,


zebra chair and vinyls, paint-splattered and scratched,

drunk-pink cheeks,


white, boxed food and those waiting,


frisbees in air,


ketchup packet carcass,


noon bell and its sound,


the grass at night
