Hey, I’m Megan, station manager here at KDAWG. This is my third year being a part of the station, and it has been a huge part of my college experience. I got into college radio because my dad did it at UCLA in the 70’s and I told him I’d give it a try— I had no idea I would enjoy it so much! I love being a part of KDAWG because it has given me a platform to creatively express myself and involve my friends in something I’m passionate about. I’m really excited to be taking on the position of station manager and for KDAWG to become a better voice for the student body.

Hi there, I'm Jonathan, the Assistant Station Manager here at KDAWG. I currently run a comedy podcast called "The Barely Passing Podcast" and also work to spread the KDAWG Media brand on all our social media accounts. This is my third year at the station and I joined because I wanted to create cool content with my friends to share with the awesome U of R community. Go Bulldogs and Go KDAWG!

Hello! My name is Sara Eddy, and I am so excited to be a part of my first year at KDAWG as the Programs Director. I am currently a Junior here at the University of Redlands and I am majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in English. I love writing, music, and watching movies. I am very much looking forward to posting fiction and non-fiction pieces to the blog and sharing my work with the rest of campus.

Hi! My name is Sammi Wells, and I am so excited to serve as the News/Campus Life Director. I am a junior and a double major in International Relations and Public Policy. I am also involved in Greek Life and currently serving as the Vice President and Recruitment Chair for Alpha Sigma Pi. I am a huge news junkie and am always refreshing my feed to see what’s going on in the world. I hope to be able to provide quick news updates for our students and keep everyone up to date on all campus activities.

Hi, I'm Emily and I am the music director here at KDAWG. This is my second year at the station, and I have loved every minute of this creative space. I was drawn to the club because I love listening to podcasts and wanted to try to make my very own one. I also love listening to music, so being at the radio station is the perfect environment for me. In my free time I like to draw, act in theatre productions, and write stories.

Hi, I’m Marin and I’m the creative director for KDAWG! I love writing fiction and poetry, reading, music, and generally anything artsy! I joined KDAWG because I want to share my writing and collaborate with others to create content. KDAWG has been a really important part of my experience as a first year student because it’s a welcoming community that encourages people to be creative, and it’s very fun. I’m so excited to produce content and work with people on their creative projects!

Hi, I’m Matt, the Old Guy. I’m a Senior and a senior citizen. I joined KDAWG because I love radio and I love music. The club has put me in touch with like-minded, creative people and I really enjoy our time together.

Hi! I’m June, and I joined KDAWG back as a first year to use the station to make my own content for the internet. Over the years, I have appreciated KDAWG as a community of people who care about music and other creative pursuits. Many of my fondest memories of my college experience have come from KDAWG, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Hi I’m KendalI, I am a junior Johnston student with an emphasis on writing and connections. I am from Seattle, Washington and this is my 3rd semester as a KDAWG member. I enjoy going to concerts and festivals and volunteered at the Youth Arts organization and venue The VERA project in Seattle. I write poetry and short fiction but hope to gain more experience with nonfiction. Eventually she would like to work in journalism around the realms of climate change or social issues. I love exploring new places, but my favorite past-time currently is solo dance parties in my room when no one is watching. Some of my current favorite musical artists are PVRIS, Grandson, Deathbyromy, Stand Atlantic and Mothica.

Hi, I’m Megan, program director here at KDAWG. This is my second year being a part of the station, and it has been a huge part of my college experience. I got into college radio because my dad did it at UCLA in the 70s and I told him I’d give it a try— I had no idea I would love it so much! When I’m not in the studio you can find me outside on the quad usually soaking up the sun, or at the fire pit, my other favorite spot on campus. I love being a part of KDAWG because it has given me a platform to creatively express myself and involve my friends in something I’m passionate about.

Hi! My name is Japera (Juh-peer-uh), I am currently a senior with a Major in studio art with a concentration in Sculpture/ceramics and a minor is Psychology. I am really passionate about art and music and am currently the music director of KDAWG Media, as well as a captain of the club ultimate frisbee team, and co-director of the female identifying Accapella group on campus called the Redlands Rhapsodies. I love all things music, and even more the ability to share music with others, which is a huge reason why I created The Slap Shack, a video concert show I produce at KDAWG. I wanted to provide a platform for friends, friends of friends, students, local artists etc. to come share their music and hopefully help them begin their journey of reaching a larger audience. I enjoy others’ creativity and hope in the future to keep the show going once I leave Redlands. Thanks to KDAWG Media for providing a creative space and supporting this show

"Hey y'all I'm Lauren. I am a senior studying environmental studies and sociology. I chose to join KDawg because it sounded like a cool opportunity to get engaged with the Redlands community about all kinds of topics, like raising awareness about real life events, music, and all that other fun stuff out there. Some things I'm trying to get people aware about are the LGBTQ community and environmentalism."
