KDAWG was named a finalist in the prestigious award competition from CBI in the categories of Best Audio Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program, and Best Student Media Website.
On March 7th, KDAWG College Radio was honored at the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System’s 75th Annual IBS New York City Conference.
With summer quickly approaching, the list of music festivals you can attend grow larger and larger. With a limited amount of cash however, most people have to pick and choose which ones to attend. Here is a comparison of the two major music festivals in California: Coachella and Outside Lands. However, for the sake of concert-goers who cannot attend these high priced festivals, Lightning in a Bottle, another smaller festival option is also included.
The morning of November 15th was as bright as the eager students who attended the day-long Radio, Music, TV and Webcasting Industry Conference. The University of Redlands KDAWG College Radio and their partner Intercollegiate Broadcast System, also known as IBS, hosted the event.
The conference begins at 8 am on Saturday November 15th and takes place at the University of Redlands in Hall of Letters. The first seminar begins at 10 am.
A transformation has taken place inside the Gannett Center. Gone are the boxes of old yearbooks, faded posters from the past, and worn out furniture. Now, there’s state-of-the-art radio equipment, a neatly organized record collection spanning the decades, and music streaming from all corners of the studio.
