FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On Saturday, October 24, 2015, the College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) bestowed its "Best Entertainment Program" Award to radio station KDAWG's "Inside The Studio" during its annual fall convention in Minneapolis.

Broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm PST on the student-run radio station at the University of Redlands, "Inside The Studio" is an entertainment/information show produced and hosted by UOR junior Evan Sanford (who's majoring in Visual Media Studies and Business Administration).

Debuting in January of 2015, "Inside the Studio's" first guest was James Fallows, the distinguished national correspondent for The Atlantic.  During the interview which was hosted by Sanford, Fallows discussed his compelling cover article in last January's edition of The Atlantic entitled "The Tragedy of the American Military" and his upcoming "American Futures" series.

Along with his wife, Deborah, the Fallows were appointed scholars in residence at the University of Redlands for spring semester, 2015.  His KDAWG interview, which was submitted to the CBI for award consideration, was taped shortly before his convocation last spring.
